- Working with other Shire stakeholders, and external advisors, to ensure business combinations are accounted for in an accurate and GAAP compliant manner
- Ensuring affiliate compliance with Shire’s Group accounting policies through training and GAAP reviews (including on-site visits to subsidiary finance teams both in the US and overseas) and updating the Controllers manual on a regular basis
