Responsibilities For Medical Supply Technician Resume
- Prepares operating room case carts in accordance with overlay guidelines
- Removes trays of instruments from washers, inspects items ensuring gross contamination has been removed and that instruments function properly
- Cleans, packages, assembles, sterilizes, and distributes supply items used for patient care in clinics, ambulatory procedure rooms, and operating rooms
- Collects contaminated supplies and portable equipment from wards, operating rooms, laboratories, and clinics of a hospital
- Reassembles medical equipment, including complex surgical equipment
- Inspects the condition of operating rooms trays, instruments and needles for cleanliness and damage and replaces them as required
- Maintains all documentation, adheres to standard operating procedures
- Determines correct method for cleaning and pre-sterilization
- Investigate with the requesting service the need for Manufacturer and model specific SOP's required
