- Represent Pharmacy on the CPOE build work group
- Ensures all medications are handled in the manner established by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, applicable accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Demonstrates understanding of safety literature and regulations, reports medication events and near misses and participates in pharmacy huddle and other safety initiatives in order to promote a safe culture
- Assumes a leadership role in the training and ongoing competencies of pharmacy staff, pharmacy residents and students to support the educational mission of JHACH Department of Pharmacy
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or BS
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Florida
- Demonstrates high level of analytical ability in order to research and evaluate drug information, interpret patient specific data, and resolve problems regarding medication use
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, kinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring and literature retrieval and evaluation as it relates to patient care within the area of specialty practice
