- Specialization in key areas, such as vergence/accommodation interactions, ophthalmic optics, and/or eye-movements
- Experience with experimental optics and conducting laboratory work (i.e., demonstrated experience constructing proof-of-concept systems and to evaluate performance)
- Interpersonal experience with cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
- Implement machine perception and artificial intelligent algorithms that are suitable for on-sensor integration for low-power, low latency cognitive systems
- Collaborate with internal and external computer vision scientists, hardware and software architects, perception scientists, and optical experts on cutting edge vision systems
- Identify new technology initiatives and develop them into innovation or development projects to address consumer needs
- Conduct in-depth research to illustrate the mechanism of action of technology leads and propose possibility for improvement
- Develop test methods and demos to advance project objectives
