  • Deep functional knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: customer service, field services, connected services, project services automation, project management, sales force automation
  • Competitive knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, etc
  • Combine the technology aspects of any solution into a high quality, cohesive and compelling technical design to support any sales proposal documents and presentations as required
  • To ensure that technical designs have gained the appropriate technical sign-off through the appropriate solutions assurance process (or via Devolved Authority if appropriate)
  • To ensure and monitor all opportunities where role holder is actively involved be appropriately badged with correct BT Security categories, associated revenues and Sales Engineer to be picked into the sales team on Sales Force
  • To take lead technical responsibility to drive profitable business by working with the customer, account team, specialist sales and commercial team to achieve the win price
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional groups (outside of Sales) within Gigamon dedicated to APJ Service Providers success. This includes the CTO office and its associated Fellows, Product Line Management (PLM), Principal SEs, Customer Success Managers, Resident Engineers, and Support Engineers. Serve as a central arm in terms of driving technical success
  • Maintain relationships across all levels/functions of customers personnel from senior management down to field force, and from sales and marketing, to purchasing, HR, finance and logistics within distribution and OEM sectors. These relationships are critical in defending existing business, ensuring a smooth well run business and gaining access to competitor business
