Responsibilities For Product Stewardship Expert Resume
- Takes appropriate actions for product safety (prevention, precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flamable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks)
- To represent Clariant Turkey towards local authorities in charge with chemical control legislations of finished chemical products (e.g. By-Law on Inventory and Control of Chemicals)
- To keep contact with national industries associations as necessary
- To order, administer and coordinate toxicological, ecological, physico-chemical and analytical studies for the local products (in finished form) at external contract laboratories
- To evaluate the intrinsic toxicological, ecological and physico-chemical substance properties in risk assessments (for chemical safety reports e.g.)
- Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems
- Ensure Company is in compliance with government regulations through the management of the Regulatory Affairs/ Product Stewardship functions. Specifics include, but no limited to, SDS program management, TSCA management, FDA compliance management and programs/standards/guidelines implementation
- Contribute to maintaining customer loyalty by providing timely responses to customers' requests concerning product regulatory information and product safety issues. Specifics include, but are not limited to, responding to environmental requests, submission to regulatory agencies, providing advice and information to customers
- Ensure the Company is up to date and current on government regulations through regulatory oversight, trade publications review, training, bulletins, review of published Company literature, etc
