- Perform operation and safety checks completing daily checklist on bale machine, forklift and clamp truck prior to using equipment
- Responsible for ensuring raw materials are staged for production. Finished goods are moved to the correct spot for either staging to shop or racked for later shipment
- Racks boxes and cartons from the receiving department
- Determines raw material needs for the production floor
- Places raw materials and stages in production area
- Restocks unused raw materials
- Weighs bales and records weight, type of bale and the ticket number. Documents the weight of the bale and initials the bale ticket, attaching the ticket to the bale. Office copy is removed and submitted to supervisor at the end of each shift
- Verifies prices for cashiers when necessary
