- Performs ultrasound testing, directs ultrasound beam via transducer into patient’s designated body parts to create diagnostic images which are displayed on an ultrasound monitor. Differentiates normal anatomy from abnormal anatomy

- Assists with quality assessment and improvement activities to maintain quality of examinations, patient safety, patient care and to maintain accreditation of the vascular laboratory by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories
- Participates in the billing process (procedural CPT code designation), scheduling of patients, filing of diagnostic reports, maintenance of logs and databases, general maintenance of laboratory equipment and environment
