  • Work with employees on performance management by setting cascading goals, giving and receiving feedback, documenting and delivering performance reviews, addressing performance issues, creating and implementing development plans while conforming to policies and other internal procedures
  • Actively participate in interview and selection of new personnel and assist with other staffing decisions
  • Direct resolution of problems, complaints, and general public relation issues which arise concerning claims service
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in respective area and help develop and implement policies and procedures which impact claims processing
  • Owns the development and performance of the Non-Complex Bodily Injury operation or multiple smaller operations; applying functional operating principles to remove barriers to success. Continuously develops talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and strengthen new skills
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to work with minimal direction/supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients and employees at all levels
