- Fine needle aspiration procedures
- Prepares and fixes specimen at bedside, or x-ray fluoroscopy , CT scan and ultrasound, suggests the adequacy of the specimens value which determines whether further sampling is necessary to minimize any further trauma or discomfort to the patient
- Maintains standards in routine testing
- Performs & documents required maintenance on equipment
- Examine cytology specimens for the presence of abnormal cellular changes and pathogens
