- Investigate and explain variances to forecast and plan
- Look for opportunities to improve performance and communicate with the businesses
- Provide financial analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities (capital spending, restructuring, acquisitions). Ensure investment assumptions are well reasoned and that the investments meet Corporate requirements
- Respond and coordinate responses with the businesses to request from Liquid Food Management and JBT Corporate groups (Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in special projects and analysis as needed working with the business General Managers and Financial leaders
- Analyze operations including manufacturing, sourcing, pricing, continuous improvement and cost reduction and act as financial business partner
- Provide insightful analysis to other functions (Sales, Product Line Management) to assist in business decision making, analysis such as GM by product
- Develop models to support financial plans and generate what if scenarios
- Work with different systems (SAP, BI, FiT, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
