- Regularly use e-Sourcing technology and support its use
- Manages a category under a Director, EPG
- Develop and implement opportunity assessments and procurement strategies on change market conditions for assigned categories and applications of advance sourcing methodology in negotiation planning and contract development consistent with overall corporate and procurement objectives
- Engage Business stakeholders proactively to identify opportunities to create Value and improve TCO of category products and services, provide market insights, and address vendor performance and process issues
- Support the execution of category management strategies and activities and of strategic sourcing process and approaches for assigned categories/sub-categories
- Collaborate with staff to ensure that work is done accurately, efficiently and in compliance with policies, procedures and standards as well as best working practices
- For smaller spend sub-categories, plan, deploy and disseminate category strategies and plans and conducts sourcing projects by engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources
