Responsibilities For Assistant Chief Medical Officer Resume
- Advise, counsel and provide guidance for Department Chairs on general medical staff questions and issues.Works with Department Chairs to support the resolution of issues
- Works pro-actively with Department Chairs on provider wellness initiatives
- Oversee the disciplinary proceedings for any medical or allied medical staff related to their clinical work and medical staff appointments; collaborate with and inform key partners such as the SMD Office for Academic Affairs as appropriate and report the findings of such proceedings to the URMC, URMFG, SMH and Highland Hospital CEO leadership
- Assure the character, quality, and credentials of all allied professional staff who are on either the medical or allied medical staff at any of the URMC owned facilities and Highland Hospital facilities
- Budget approved for staff and expenses come from the following areas that report to the Chief Medical Officer
- Acts as a trusted advisor to Affiliate Organization CMO’s
- Support a variety of administrative activities specific to working area. Exercise initiative and judgement in handling routine and confidential materials / enquiries
