- Negotiates subcontracts and assists with industry-contract negotiations
- Apprises Investigators regarding submission dates and changes in the application, submission, and funding guidelines of the institution and of various funding agencies
- Develop collaborative working relationships with ancillary services such as, Research Management/Finance, Corporate Sponsored Research and Licensing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Human Resources, Partners International Office, etc
- Knowledge and current demonstrated experience in contract and grant proposal formats, preparation, submission and administration, as well as federal, state and private granting agency regulations

- Graduation from college with a major in business administration, economics, statistics, educational administration, political science, or an allied field, or demonstrated experience in administrative analysis or operations research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Reviewing and, as needed, escalate questions related to cost-share, facilities/lab availability, and any other issues that could cause stumbling blocks to award acceptance or project implementation
