- Fault management design, reliability engineering, algorithm development and signal processing experience
- System performance modeling in MATLAB environment, system modeling in Artisan, configuration management using ClearCase, ClearQuest, KPP and TPM identification and tracking; risk management, mitigation planning and execution
- Internal and external interface definition and verification, verification and validation test planning and execution, spares planning
- Test readiness reviews, FCA/PCA preparation, verification execution and reporting, telemetry validation, support initial operations test planning and execution
- Performs technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements
- Performs customer requirements analysis, develops system requirements and defines allocations to lower levels (subsystem, elements and components)
- Performs systems engineering planning, information security planning, performance management, capacity planning, testing and validation, risk assessment, benchmarking, information engineering, security impact analysis
- Prepare presentation material and assist in preparation for system reviews (Delta-PDR and possibly CDR) and related peer review. Assist in closing requests for actions from system and peer reviews
- Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts from ideas and guides through final product
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into specifications
- Mentor other System Engineers on all phases of the Program
