- Diploma in Accounting/Finance or Business (studying towards)
- SAP Business 1 knowledge would be an advantage
- Two or more years’ experience in a larger organization with mainframe-based accounting systems
- Prepare deposit summary used for reconciling bank accounts and journal entry preparation
- Invoice preparation and mailing

- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining good attendance.Adheres to the company Compliance Program and policies
- Extract data from Coupon Management System (CMS) to determine that all of the items that were included in Safeway’s performance are reflected on the NOPA and in PACS
- Four or more years accounting and/or merchandising experience
- Experience working in a busy office environment required
- Experience using a mainframe computer for access to review and/or enter data
- Some experience in the Accounting department is an advantage
