- Utilizes Health Connect to pend radiology order notifications to the treating physician when a Radiologist recommends additional imaging or alternative exam(s). Utilizes web-based application to receive instructions from the Radiologists regarding recommendations & need for scheduling additional exams for patients; & to document actions & final resolution status
- Assists physicians’ offices with film / report requests and ensures timely delivery to their office while maintaining information in a secure and confidential setting
- Conducts comprehensive patient interviews by obtaining accurate information such as Social Security Number, name, address, phone number, guarantor data and phone number, third party payer, etc., while verifying applicable information via on-line software
- Assigns coordination of benefits in hospital information system
